Awantipora Police Organise Anti-Drug Awareness Programmes across District

Awantipora, May 11: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Police in Awantipora organized a series of drug awareness programmes at different educational institutions across the district to educate students and the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

Police Station Khrew organized an awareness programme at Government Middle School Mandakpal, where students and staff members participated actively. The speakers highlighted the ill effects of drug addiction and stressed the importance of staying away from narcotic substances.

Police Post Reshipora conducted a drug awareness programme at Iqbal Memorial Public School Dogripora. A large number of students participated in the programme and were sensitized about the social, legal, and health related consequences of drug abuse.

Similarly, Police Station Tral organized an awareness programme at Government Girls Middle School Pinglish, where participants were encouraged to play an active role in building a drug free society.

Police Station Awantipora conducted a drug awareness programme at Government High School Midoora. During the programme, students were educated about the dangers of substance abuse and motivated to spread awareness among their peers and society.

Meanwhile, Police Post Aripal organized a drug awareness programme at Government Primary School Dharamgund. The participants were informed about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying away from drugs.

Awantipora Police remains committed towards creating awareness among the youth and strengthening community participation in the fight against drug menace under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
