Awantipora, April 27: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan, Police District Awantipora has intensified its drive against drug abuse and illicit narcotics trade.
In this regard, multiple raids are being conducted at various locations across the Police District, with special focus on identified narco hotspot areas including Kawni, Ladermud, and Brawbadina. These raids are aimed at dismantling drug networks and ensuring a drug free society.
The raids are being carried out by dedicated police teams under the supervision of senior officers, with strict vigilance and zero tolerance towards those involved in narcotics activities.
Police have urged the general public to cooperate in this mission and share any information related to drug peddling or substance abuse. The identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
