Srinagar, April 07:
The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation (RNAF), under the leadership of its founder, Rouble Nagi, Tuesday successfully inaugurated three new computer centres across Kashmir, furthering its commitment to digital education and youth empowerment. This initiative follows the foundation’s announcement last month to expand technological access in other parts of Kashmir.
Over the past three years, the foundation has established multiple computer centres across the Kashmir Valley, significantly contributing to digital inclusion in the region. The addition of these three new centres marks yet another milestone, adding a further feather to the foundation’s growing record of success and reinforcing its sustained commitment to empowering youth through education and technology.
The newly established computer centres are located at, Islamic Educational Institute, Sangam, Eidgah, Srinagar, Soliah School, Narbal, Budgam, and Mehboob-ul-Alam Public School, Bandgam, Budgam.
Rouble Nagi, recipient of the Global Teachers Prize 2026, personally interacted with students and faculty during the visits. Addressing the gathering, she reiterated the foundation’s mission to bridge the digital divide and create equitable learning opportunities for all.
Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the critical importance of digital literacy in today’s rapidly evolving world. She highlighted that staying connected with emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), is no longer optional but essential. According to her, computer education serves as a foundational pillar for future readiness, enabling students to engage with global knowledge systems, enhance problem-solving skills, and participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
She further noted that integrating technology into education fosters innovation, creativity, and self-reliance among young learners, particularly in regions where access to such resources has historically been limited.
The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation continues to work at the intersection of art, education, and social development, with a strong focus on empowering communities through sustainable initiatives.
