Bandipora Police Distributes Study Material to Children of Police Martyrs

Bandipora, March 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Police in Bandipora on Saturday distributed study material among students belonging to families of police martyrs as part of a welfare initiative aimed at supporting their education.

The programme was organised by the district police to provide educational assistance to children of personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty. Study kits containing essential academic material were distributed to the students to support their studies and encourage their academic progress.

The event was attended by Ajaz Ahmed Zargar along with other officers of the district police.

Officials said the initiative was part of ongoing efforts by the police department to extend support to the families of martyrs and ensure the educational needs of their children are addressed.

Speaking on the occasion, the SSP said the police department remains committed to the welfare of families of personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the nation and will continue to extend assistance to them.

Family members and students who received the study material expressed appreciation for the gesture and acknowledged the support provided by the police department.

Police officials said similar welfare initiatives would continue to be undertaken to support the families of martyrs and to encourage the education of their children.
