Pulwama, Feb 25: Tauseef Ashraf hailing from Pulwama has successfully qualified the National Referee and Judge Examination in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and has been certified as ‘C’ Category National Referee & Judge.
He was among six nominees sent for the National Certification Examination and has qualified it successfully, bringing pride to entire Jammu & Kashmir.
He was nominated by the Mixed Martial Arts Sports Association of J&K (Regd.), which is affiliated to the Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India. The certification program was conducted under the authority of the Federation, which is affiliated with the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association and recognized by the Olympic Council of Asia.
This achievement strengthens the officiating structure of Mixed Martial Arts in the Union Territory and marks a significant step forward for the sport’s professional development in the region.
This milestone reflects the steady growth of Mixed Martial Arts in Jammu & Kashmir and sets a strong example for aspiring referees and officials in the region.
