Jammu, Feb 11: M. Jackson Cultural Institute and Society, in collaboration with the Jammu Civil Society for Art and Culture, on Sunday organised a felicitation ceremony in Jammu to honour noted cultural personality Dr Rafiq Masoodi for his contributions to art, culture and social harmony.
The event was attended by several eminent personalities from the fields of art, literature, culture and social service, who spoke about Masoodi’s role in promoting cultural values and intellectual engagement across the region and beyond.
Speakers highlighted his lifelong dedication to cultural promotion and described his work as a source of inspiration, particularly for younger generations.
They said his efforts have played an important role in fostering social harmony and preserving cultural heritage.
During the ceremony, Rafiq Masoodi was felicitated with a shawl, a memento and a citation in recognition of his contributions and achievements.
The organisers said the programme was aimed at acknowledging individuals who have made meaningful contributions to society and culture, and reiterated their commitment to promoting art, heritage and cultural values through similar initiatives in the future.
