Mindwire Academy Organises Career Counselling Session at NM Higher Secondary School

Bandipora, Dec 30: A career counselling session was organised at the Auditorium Hall, Kaloosa, Bandipora by Mindwire Academy Bandipora to offer students a comprehensive overview of various career options and to assist them in navigating the complexities of career selection.
The session was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib and Professor Naseer Iqbal, Registrar, University of Kashmir. The event also included participation from officials of the Bandipora Police and faculty members from the Mindwire Academy.
Addressing the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, provided students with a detailed introspection of career paths, drawing from her personal experiences to offer practical advice. Interacting with students, she shared her vast experience and discussed with them a broader perspective on career choices.
Professor Naseer Iqbal, Registrar of the University of Kashmir, speaking on the occasion, provided academic insights into higher education and highlighted the importance of skill-based education while discussing the implications of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Professor Naseer Iqbal, speaking to the Kashmir Convener, emphasized the importance of such counselling sessions to help students gain clarity about their future goals. He underscored the need for almost every higher educational institute to have a career counselling cell.
Peerzada Yasir Rafiq, Chairman Mindwire Academy while talking to Kashmir Convener stated that these interactive sessions are designed to empower students to make informed career choices without confusion, especially given their early exposure to various environments. He noted that such sessions help students clarify their aspirations at the young age.
The event was well-received, with students expressing appreciation for the guidance provided.
