Jammu, October 16, 2025: The Tiger Division of Jammu launched its inaugural Military Civil Fusion Capsule (MCFC) on 15 October 2025, marking a historic step toward strengthening collaboration between the Armed Forces, civil administration, and security agencies. The ten-day programme will continue until 29 October 2025.
Welcoming participants, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Tiger Division highlighted the critical importance of synergy between military and civil institutions in ensuring stability, progress, and a “Whole of Region Approach” in Jammu. He emphasized that integration at all levels, from strategic planning to grassroots governance, is crucial for addressing multidimensional challenges, including conventional security threats, cyber issues, and social media-related concerns.
The MCFC brings together a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including personnel from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, BSF, CRPF, CISF, JKP, IRP, and veterans. Academicians from IIT and IIM Jammu, along with officials from multiple civil departments such as Public Welfare, Rural Development, Flood Control, Information, Jal Shakti, Health, Education & Social Welfare, Youth and Sports, and others, are also participating.
The capsule aims to foster synergy among all stakeholders through cross-establishment visits, interactive sessions, and lectures delivered by eminent speakers and high-level dignitaries. On the opening day, participants underscored Jammu’s seven decades of exemplary civil-military cooperation, which has consistently bolstered public confidence and resilience. Speakers highlighted operations like SINDOOR, RAHAT, and SANJAY, where coordinated efforts between military and civil agencies saved lives and restored critical infrastructure, reinforcing that fusion is key to regional development.
The programme is expected to refine and replicate successful models of civil-military cooperation that can benefit national security and governance. Warm appreciation was extended to all participants for their commitment to unity, service, and national integration.
