Bandipora, May 27: The Municipal Council Bandipora today hosted a “Waste to Wonder” competition at the Town Hall to encourage creativity and environmental responsibility among students.
Several local schools participated, including IDPS Bandipora, Faiz Aam Secondary School, Army Goodwill School, Government NM Higher Secondary School, and DRM School Mader. Students showcased innovative projects crafted from waste materials, highlighting the importance of recycling and sustainable practices.
The Chief Executive Officer of Municipal Council Bandipora, Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan, attended the event and distributed letters of appreciation to participating students and institutions for their efforts.
This initiative aims to promote responsible waste management and cultivate environmental stewardship among the youth in the Bandipora district.
