JKReTTF Condemns Inappropriate Behavior of DIET Principal at Training Program.
Demands Action Against DIET Principal for Undermining Teachers’ Dignity
Bandipora: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehber-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) expresses its strong condemnation of the recent disrespectful conduct exhibited by the DIET Principal during a two-day training program on Health and Wellness held at the training center in Sumbal, Bandipora.
The DIET Principal, who also serves as the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Bandipora, allegedly made disparaging remarks during his speech that humiliated teachers who were present, despite their exemplary dedication and hard work.
“Such behavior is not only unwarranted but also undermines the morale of educators, whose contributions are vital to the growth and development of students and society as a whole,” spokesperson of the organisation said in the statement issued to Kashmir Convener.
According to spokesperson Khalid Rafeeq Bhat, Chairman of JKReTTF and a participant in the training program, bravely confronted the DIET Principal’s inappropriate behavior and condemned his ill intentions towards the teaching community. “Instead of offering encouragement and support, the Principal chose to demean educators with negative comments. This incident is particularly troubling as it is not the first occurrence of such behavior from the DIET Principal, having previously expressed similar derogatory remarks at the Bandipora training center”.
Spokesperson said the JKReTTF firmly believes that the teaching community deserves respect, encouragement, and recognition for their unwavering commitment to education. He said the actions of the DIET Principal reflect a disturbing trend that needs to be addressed urgently.
“We call upon the appropriate authorities to hold the DIET Principal accountable for his actions and to ensure that the dignity of our teachers is upheld in all future interactions. We urge the educational administration to prioritize a culture of respect and support within the training programs to foster a positive environment for professional development”.
