JDU Holds Workers’ Meeting in Sumbal, GM Shaheen Assures Resolution of Public Grievances

Bandipora: Janata Dal United (JDU) held a workers’ meeting on Friday at Dak Banglow Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. The meeting saw the enthusiastic participation of dozens of workers.

The meeting was presided over by JDU State President GM Shaheen, accompanied by , District President Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, District General Secretary Bandipora Ghulam Mohammad Dar, and other party members.

During the meeting locals of the area raised various grievances concerning their area. GM Shaheen assured them that all genuine issues would be resolved on a priority basis.

Speaking to the media, GM Shaheen said, “I visited Sumbal Bandipora today as the people of the area have been inviting us for several months. We came here to address their genuine grievances and to fulfill the commitments we made before the elections. Whether they voted for us or not, it is our duty to serve the people.”

GM Shaheen strongly criticized the National Conference (NC), accusing the party of betraying the people by failing to fulfill its election promises.

He said, “The National Conference has a long history of making lofty commitments to secure votes but has consistently failed in implementation. This has left the people feeling disillusioned and betrayed. I urge the public to hold such parties accountable and support leaders who genuinely prioritize their welfare.
