Budgam, December 16: Clashes erupt between two groups in Pethmakhama village of central kashmir’s Budgam district today afternoon soon after the culmination of Friday prayers.
An official spokesperson said Police reached the spot immediately to restore normalcy and bring order among the unruly groups. “However, some miscreants started pelting stones on the police party. During this incident some unknown persons snatched an INSAS rifle and fled away,” he said.
During this incident five policemen were injured. Three injured policemen were admitted in SDH Magam and has been discharged after First-aid, BMO Magam Said.
Police has taken cognizance and a case has been registered in the matter.
