JAMMU, NOVERMBER 17: As a mark of respect to Lt Gen S K Sinha, the former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, who passed away on 17th November, 2016 (Thursday), the State Government has decided that the State Mourning shall be observed for 3 days w.e.f 17.11.2016(Thursday) to 19.11.2016(Saturday).
As per an order issued by the General Administration Department, the national and state flag shall fly at half-mast during the State Mourning on all buildings and places where these are flown regularly and there shall be no official entertainment/function during the state mourning.
