50-bedded COVID Care Facility inaugurated at Budgam

Budgam, May 27: District Development Commissioner Budgam on Thursday inaugurated 50-bedded COVID Care Facility at Nagam Chadura Budgam.

The facility is being supported by KFORD, Human Welfare Voluntary Organisation and Mission Oxygen, in which free food for patients and attendants, sanitation of this hospital, oxygen support through concentrators and other associated care facilities is being provided by these organizations.

While speaking on this occasion Iqbal Lone CEO, KFORD stressed on the needs and concerns of children in these times. He said child protection is their primary responsibility. Feroz wani Executive Director HWVO also impressed on the needs of child care facilities comprehensively in Covid care centers.

BMO Naagam Budgam also assured full cooperation and support from his department and faculty for this level II covid care facility. SDM Chadoora among other officials also stress the need to strengthen village level covid care centres in the area.
It was also discussed threadbare about the relief activities of these organizations in this area.


Among other issues, vaccination of child care institutions across Budgam was discussed with DC Budgam and also about the vaccination drive for persons with disabilities in this entire district.
