Bandipora Feb 15: The 45 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised free medical camps in Baharabad villages of Hajin Tehsil in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.
Under its civic action program, the 45 BN CRPF organised a free medical camp at Baharabad village. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Saima Gani in the presence of Commandant Sh. Apoorwa of 45 BN CRPF, accompanied by Rajiv Ranjan, Adjudant, and medical camp Incharge DYSP Vijay, along with other officers and local eminent personalities.
Commanding Officer of 45 BN CRPF, Apoorwa, stated, “Our medical camp serves as a means of reaching out to the general public. We provide treatment for common diseases, seasonal illnesses, and, if necessary, involve experts.”
A local resident, Javid Ahmad Bhat of Baharabad, expressed gratitude, saying, “We are very thankful for this camp. Medicines are quite expensive outside, costing Rs 1000-2000. The doctors here are also very good, and people are getting check-ups done smoothly.”
The medical camp benefitted from the assistance of Dr. Abdul Rasheed and his team from CHC Hajin, with Dr. Syed Afaq Ahmad Shah also participated in providing medical treatment to the local populace.
Doctor consultations and free medicines were provided to patients, who appreciated the efforts of the CRPF for reaching out to far-flung villages.
