3 BN CRPF organises free medical camp in Turqpora, Bandipora

Bandipora, March 30:- A free medical camp was organized by 3 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Turqpora Village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday 30.03.2021.

An official said, 3 BN CRPF under civic action programme, On Tuesday  organised a Free Medical Camp at Turqpora village of Bandipora.

Commanding Officer 3 BN CRPF Rakesh Sharma informed the local villagers that  medical camp by CRPF is based on Healthy Society-Strong Nation concept and likely to benefit the masses in this kind of interior areas where health workers are not frequented. It is also an attempt to reach out to the needy people and spread the health awareness for a healthy society. He apprised tht 3 Battalion is conducting these Free medical camps at diiferent interior and far flung locations across the Bandipora. 

He further added that they are providing treatment and free medicines for various diseases including seasonal illnesses and other complex ailments.
The large no. of local residents gathered to avail the facility hailed the noble initiative being taken by CRPF in Turqpora where such kind of camp has been organised after almost 2-3 years. The available CRPF Doctor and his medical staff have been seen promptly arranging check up besides providing Free check up of blood Sugar and Blood-pressure.
Large quantity of Hygiene-sanitation items and Covid protective gears were also distributed among the gathering besides to the Children of nearby schools who witnessed the program. 


Doctor provided free consultation followed up by free medicines to apprx 300 patients.  Refreshment and chocolates to the villagers  who gathered at the venue to participate in health awareness initiative, were also served.
Earlier, the Camp was inaugurated by Mohd Maqbool Dar an elderly patient, (appx75 years old) present at the venue in the presence of Commanding Officer 3 BN CRPF Rakesh Sharma and Second in command Kailash Nath. The Sarpanch Turqpora, while giving vote of thanks hailed CRPF initiatives besides villagers who availed the facility in large number.
