JKTF Bandipora Announces Election for Zonal President of Zone Hajin
Nomination process to begin July 3; voting scheduled for July 10
Bandipora, July 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Bandipora unit has announced the schedule for the election of Zonal President for Zone Hajin, aiming to strengthen its grassroots leadership through a democratic process.
According to an official notification issued by the forum, the nomination process for the post will begin on July 3, 2025, and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is July 4. The election is scheduled to be held on July 10 at 2:00 PM through secret ballot.
Mr. Anjum Nisar has been appointed as the Chief Election Officer, while Mr. Ghulam Hassan Parray and Mr. Majid Majeed will serve as Election Observers. The counting of votes will be overseen by Mr. Reyaz Rasool Malik and Mr. Mohammad Shafi Tantrey, designated as Counting Officers.
The election is open to all active and registered JKTF members of Zone Hajin. The forum has called upon eligible members to actively participate in the process, stating that the election aims to install a representative who can coordinate effectively with the district body and work for the welfare of the teaching community.
The JKTF has urged all participants to ensure that the election is conducted in a peaceful, impartial, and transparent manner, in line with the core values of the organisation.
