TFSA Bandipora Felicitates CAHO at Wevan

Bandipora, June 28: The Technical Field Staff Association (TFSA), Bandipora, held a felicitation ceremony at Wevan, Bandipora, to formally welcome Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Younis on assuming charge as the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO) of Bandipora district.

The event witnessed the presence of field staff and officers from the department, who gathered to express their support and extend greetings to the newly appointed officer.

During the ceremony Parvaiz Ahmad Reshi, District President of TFSA Bandipora, extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Younis and assured him of the association’s full cooperation and support in fulfilling the department’s mission under his leadership.

He lauded Dr. Younis’s track record and expressed optimism about the future of the department with him at the helm.

The event also welcomed Dr. Khalid Hameed Bhat, Livestock Development Officer (LDO) Sumbal, and Dr. Abdul Gani Baba, Block Veterinary Officer (BVO) Bandipora. Both officers addressed the gathering, stressing the significance of collaboration, field-level commitment, and accountability in delivering effective services to the farming and livestock-rearing communities.

In his address, Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Younis thanked TFSA Bandipora for the warm welcome and expressed his commitment to strengthening the department through teamwork, transparency, and efficiency. He highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts between field staff and officers to improve service delivery, particularly at the grassroots level.

Sajad Ahmad Bhat, Head Assistant, also spoke on the occasion, emphasizing the need for integrity, honesty, and transparency in administrative functioning. He encouraged staff to work collectively towards enhancing public trust and departmental performance.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Parvaiz Ahmad Reshi, who expressed his gratitude to all the officers, dignitaries, and staff members for their participation and dedication.

He reaffirmed TFSA’s commitment to supporting the department’s developmental goals and working in tandem to achieve meaningful progress in the field of animal husbandry in Bandipora.
