SRINAGAR, JUNE 15: In the wake of the rapidly escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, Srinagar-based Edu Plan Consultants has appealed to the Government of India for the urgent evacuation of Indian nationals currently stranded in Iran. The appeal, addressed to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir and the Ministry of External Affairs, highlights the pressing need for swift action to ensure the safety of Indian citizens, particularly medical students from Jammu & Kashmir, pilgrims, tourists, and professionals who are presently in Iran.
In a formal communication submitted via email, Edu Plan Consultants expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in Iran, which has caused severe distress among the families of those stranded. Limited communication channels and growing regional instability have heightened fears, particularly among the families in Jammu & Kashmir who have loved ones studying or working in various parts of Iran.

The situation on the ground is alarming. We appeal to the concerned authorities to act without delay and ensure the safety and swift evacuation of every Indian citizen caught in this crisis.”
