Bandipora : To review the progress under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri Friday convened a review meeting on Monday here in the VC Room, Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
According to an official spokesperson, the meeting focused on the implementation status, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and conducting gap analysis in 31 notified tribal villages of the district.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner underscored the need for timely and result-oriented actions to ensure that the objectives of the Abhiyan are met effectively.
During the meeting, the DDC emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination for addressing developmental gaps in tribal villages. He urged the concerned officers to ensure accurate data collection and proactive planning for the preparation of village-specific DPRs.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC assured that the district administration is committed to upliftment and inclusive development of tribal communities through focused initiatives under the DAJGUA framework.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora Shabir Ahmad wani; Chief Planning Officer Bandipora Mohammed Maqbool Lone;
District Programme Officer Bandipora, Chief Medical Officer, Assistant Director CAPD, and Executive Engineers from R&B, PHE, PDD, and PMGSY Bandipora.
