COAS General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Operational Preparedness in J&K

 Commends Troops for Outstanding Performance in OPERATION SINDOOR

Jammu, May 31: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi conducted a detailed review of operational preparedness in the Paragwal Sector of Jammu and Kashmir and visited the Tiger Division, where he lauded the troops for their exemplary performance during OPERATION SINDOOR.

During his visit, General Dwivedi emphasized the importance of maintaining agility and vigilance in response to the evolving security dynamics in the region. He urged all personnel to remain alert and adaptive to emerging threats to safeguard the territorial integrity and security of the nation.

Highlighting the seamless cooperation between forces, the COAS praised the Border Security Force (BSF) for its close operational integration with the Indian Army. He specifically commended Assistant Commandant Neha Bhandari and her team for their courageous defense of forward posts in the Akhnoor Sector, underscoring their dedication and bravery.

General Dwivedi also acknowledged the valuable contribution of ex-servicemen who played a vital role in supporting the armed forces during OPERATION SINDOOR, recognizing their continued commitment to national security.

The COAS’s visit underscores the Indian Army’s steadfast resolve to maintain operational readiness and ensure peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir amid ongoing security challenges.
