District Judge Inspects Under-Construction Court Complex, Lawyers’ Chambers in Bandipora

Bandipora, May 14: District and Sessions Judge Bandipora, accompanied by the Additional Sessions Judge and Chief Judicial Magistrate, Wednesday conducted an inspection to review the progress of the under-construction Court Complex and Lawyers’ Chambers in Bandipora.

The inspection was carried out in coordination with the Executive Body of the Bar Association Bandipora, led by its newly elected President, Advocate Sufi Feroz.

During the visit, the judiciary assessed the ongoing construction and issued on-the-spot directions to the contractor to expedite the pace of work while strictly maintaining quality standards to ensure timely completion.

The Executive Body of the Bar Association raised several key concerns regarding the need for essential facilities within the court premises, including an ATM, a post office, and a mosque, which are vital to meet the day-to-day needs of advocates and litigants.

Responding to the concerns, the District and Sessions Judge assured the legal fraternity of his full support and cooperation in addressing these infrastructural needs.

He emphasized the importance of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe to enhance access to justice and working conditions for legal professionals in the district.

The visit underscores a collaborative approach between the judiciary and the Bar to improve judicial infrastructure and support systems for the legal community in Bandipora.
