Airtel Business Launches ‘Business Name Display’ to Boost Customer Trust

Srinagar, May 5 – Airtel Business has launched “Business Name Display” (BND), a first-of-its-kind service that allows enterprises to display their brand name on the recipient’s mobile screen during outgoing calls. The feature aims to improve customer trust and reduce spam call confusion.

The service helps customers easily identify legitimate calls from businesses, addressing a growing issue where essential calls—from banks, hospitals, delivery services, and more—are often mistaken for spam.

“BND ensures safer, more transparent communication. It builds trust and helps businesses stand out while giving customers clarity on who’s calling,” said Sharat Sinha, Director & CEO, Airtel Business.

The service was successfully piloted with over 250 companies, making 12.8 million calls from 1.5 million numbers across sectors such as banking, logistics, food delivery, and retail, resulting in higher customer engagement.

To activate BND, businesses can register and configure their details via the Airtel Business portal.
