Kishtwar: In an effort to foster peace and strengthen communal harmony, the Indian Army organized a Quami Ekta Meet on 03 May 2025 at Thatri, Kishtwar. The event, aimed at promoting unity among the local communities, saw the participation of around 40 prominent personalities from nearby villages.
During the meet, discussions were held on various developmental initiatives underway in the region and the challenges faced by the local residents. The focus was on engaging with the community in a positive manner, countering the divisive tactics of adversaries, and ensuring that peace and brotherhood prevail in the area.
Local leaders emphasized the importance of unity and harmony, highlighting the strong spirit of cooperation that exists in the Thatri region. The Indian Army officer present at the event encouraged religious leaders to play an active role in maintaining peace and assured them of full support in meeting local needs.
The meet received a warm reception from the local leaders, who expressed their gratitude for the Army’s efforts in supporting the community.
