Bandipora – The Indian Army’s based in the Dawar, Tulail & Bagtore sector, organized a porter recruitment rally. The rally was held to provide employment opportunities to the youth in the border region.
A local residents of Gurez, Bagtore , tulail expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for organizing the recruitment rally annually, stating that it helps the youth earn their livelihood.
The recruitment rally is scheduled to take place over three days. During this period, physical and medical tests of candidates will be conducted to fill vacancies for a duration of six months in the Gurez Valley.
Locals stated that the rally offers a rare employment opportunity for youth in the region. They also noted that such efforts contribute to the region’s overall development and progress.
Residents expressed hope that similar initiatives will continue in the future to support the local population in border areas.
