Jammu, April 24: After Minister Javed Rana pulled up officers responsible for closely monitoring and coordinating with the recruiting agencies to expedite the recruitment process, the JKSSB has advertised 508 JE posts.
The Jal Shakti Department in Jammu and Kashmir is taking steps to address the severe shortage of manpower, which has impacted the implementation of water supply schemes in J&K.
Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has advertised 358 Junior Engineer (JE) posts in the Jal Shakti Department and 150 JE posts in the Works Department.
This move is expected to help fill the vacant positions and improve the department’s efficiency.
Rana’s office is actively monitoring cadre management in the Jal Shakti Department, addressing grievances from engineers regarding mismanagement at various levels.
These efforts aim to streamline the department’s operations and ensure better implementation of water supply schemes in J&K, a spokesperson in the Ministry informed.
