Bandipora, Apr 19: In response to the continuous rainfall and the forecast of a severe thunderstorm across Bandipora district, the office of the MLA Bandipora Nizamudin Bhat has activated emergency helplines to support residents during the period of adverse weather conditions.

The weather department has warned of lightning, strong winds, and possible hailstorms, prompting swift action from the local legislator’s office. A public notice issued today urged residents to stay indoors and remain vigilant, assuring that dedicated helplines are in place to address any emergencies that may arise due to the weather.

The emergency helpline numbers—7006197461 and 7889716511—will remain active throughout the duration of the weather alert.
