Salem Yousuf’s Book “Kar Phol-e-Sahar” Released

Sonawari, April 12: In a celebration of Kashmiri language and literature, the much-anticipated book “Kar Phol-e-Sahar” by acclaimed writer Saleem Yousuf was formally released today at a literary event held in Sonawari.

The function was organized by Inder Cultural Forum Sonawari in collaboration with the J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages.

The event drew a distinguished audience of literary figures, scholars, and cultural enthusiasts from across the region. Among the notable attendees were Kesar, Fayaz Telgami, Dr. Shubeena Iqbal (Principal, GDC Sumbal), Dr. Shasta Ahmad, and Nisar Naseem, who all spoke on the literary value and cultural depth of Yousuf’s latest work.

The speakers lauded “Kar Phol-e-Sahar” for its poetic elegance and rich thematic substance, noting that Saleem Yousuf’s writing continues to be a significant voice in the preservation and evolution of regional literature.
