Bandipora, April 10: Principal of DIET Bandipora, Abdul Rashid Mir, Thursday took over as the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Bandipora after government assigned him it as the additional charge.
Soon after assuming the charge, CEO Bandipora held a meeting with officers who apprised him about the functioning of the department.
Mir interacted with the officers and took the first hand appraisal of implementation of National Education Policy besides implementation of various schemes.
He also took stock of the infrastructural academic needs in Schools of the district besides reviewing the teaching learning process in the district schools.
Meanwhile JK teacher’s Forum welcomed the CEO and assured him full support in improving the quality education in the district and streamlining the teaching learning process.
Chief Spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Bandipora, in a statement expressed confidence that with Abdul Rashid Mir at the helm of both DIET and CEO offices, Bandipora’s education system is set for a much-needed transformation.
“His track record at DIET already speaks volumes. We believe he will bring about fairness, discipline, and inclusiveness,” he added.
