Srinagar, April 7: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) is hosting the U-15 Junior League 2024–25, with two matches played on Monday at the TRC Ground in Srinagar.
The league is organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and several U-15 teams from across the country are participating.
In the first match, Inter Kashi faced Delhi FC, with Delhi FC winning convincingly 7–0.
In another match, Sreenidi Deccan FC defeated Corbett FC.
The RKFC management, with support from various government departments including the J&K Sports Council, has made all necessary arrangements for the tournament.
Real Kashmir FC’s U-15 team will play its first match against Sreenidi Deccan FC on April 9.
RKFC has been hosting I-League matches for several years. On Sunday, the club hosted its most recent I-League match against Churchill Brothers, which was attended by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
RKFC is the only team from the region playing in the I-League and has been actively promoting football at the grassroots level. The club is owned by Arshid Shawl.
