PAMPORE, March 03: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit Pulwama organised an Eid Milan Programme at Saffron town Pampore, under the leadership of BJP Pulwama President Er Showkat Ahmad Gayoor.
The gathering was attended by several senior BJP leaders, including Sajad Ahmad Raina, Arshad Bhat Bhat, Nisar Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Asif Ganie, Syed Israr Ahmad, Shahnawaz Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad Mir, Payees Ahmad Dar, Sofi Bashir Ahmad along with number of party workers.
During the event, they exchanged Eid greetings and celebrated the spirit of unity and harmony.
Addressing the party workers, BJP leaders said that their competition is with the National Conference and PDP. With the upcoming Municipal and Panchayat polls, BJP leaders will work together to strengthen the party at every booth in the district. When the booths are strong, they will be able to win every election. They urged party workers to put in their efforts to make the upcoming Bharatiya Janata Party programmes successful.
Speaking to Kashmir Convener, Er. Showkat Gayoor Andrabi said the purpose of this meeting was to promote the party’s programmes in the district, ensure their success, and encourage new people to join the party. He also mentioned that he made an effort to bring together all Morcha leaders and senior leaders from the provided list, facilitating discussions with them on a common platform. The team I am forming is being discussed and created with full transparency in every aspect.
He said for the upcoming elections, our effort will be to work hard on the five Municipal Committees in Pulwama district. “We will strive to ensure that our party secures the chairmanship of all five Municipal committees and achieves victory. In both the Municipal and Panchayat polls, we aim to bring forward capable individuals who will genuinely serve the people”.
