Akhnoor, March 27: The Indian Army and Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), in collaboration with the Learning Links Foundation, on Thursday conducted a Digital Literacy Program at the Akhnoor Military Station with an aim to enhance digital proficiency among serving and retired army personnel.
An official spokesperson said the program aimed to bridge the digital divide and equip participants with essential technological skills, crucial for both professional and personal growth.
The curriculum covered computer basics, internet navigation, online communication, cybersecurity awareness, and the application of digital tools in various professional domains.
According to the spokesperson, the initiative catered to veterans seeking civilian employment and serving soldiers looking to enhance their operational efficiency, offering hands-on training led by expert instructors from the Learning Links Foundation.
Participants expressed enthusiasm about the program, emphasizing its practical applications in their transition to civilian life and professional upskilling.
