Baramulla, March 22: On the third Jummah of the holy month of Ramadan, 2025, a grand Iftar Party was held in Baramulla.
The move brought together an array of distinguished dignitaries, local leaders and community figures in a spirit of unity and brotherhood.
The event was hosted by Dagger Division in the sacred month of Ramadan, underscoring the values of peace, harmony and collective strength within Baramulla district.
The gathering was graced by the presence of several prominent citizens from District Baramulla, including Touseef Raina, Reyaz Ahmed Nagoo, Prof Tariq Ahmad Chalkoo, Shaikh Amir, Zubair Dar , RJ Mehak Khurseed and others Adding to the significance of the event, DFO Satyendra Maurya, Chief Agriculture Officer Yadvinder Singh attended the gathering as well.
The event highlighted the importance of fostering strong ties between the citizens, local administration, local leadership and Indian Army.
The festive atmosphere was filled with warmth and cheer as the guests shared a variety of traditional Ramadan delicacies, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.
“We are so grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate this special occasion in the most awaited Iftar Daawat held in Baramulla” said Barkat, a noted sermon preacher from Baramulla.
“Iftar Daawat embodies the essence of Ramadan – coming together, sharing, and supporting one another,” said Majid Wani, a youth leader of Baramulla.
He said it was heartwarming to see many people from diverse backgrounds joining the beautiful tradition.
Officials said the Iftar served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and interaction, reinforcing the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. People expressed their gratitude to Dagger Division for the thoughtful initiative which served as a testament to the enduring spirit of harmony in Baramulla.
