Bandipora, March 10: The five-day Orientation Program on Inclusive Education for Heads of Institutions (HOIs) and teachers of District Bandipora concluded on Monday.
An official spokesperson said the programme was held under the patronage of Principal DIET Bandipora, Mr. Abdul Rasheed Mir. He said the program aimed to enhance the pedagogical skills and professional competencies of teachers.
Officials said the participants were equipped with innovative teaching methodologies and modern educational strategies to foster an inclusive learning environment. “Over five days, resource persons conducted insightful sessions, offering valuable knowledge and practical approaches to inclusive education”.
During the valedictory session, Principal Abdul Rasheed Mir emphasized the importance of inclusive education in ensuring equal learning opportunities for all students.
He highlighted the program’s role in strengthening the teaching-learning process and expressed gratitude to all participants and resource persons.
Special appreciation was extended to Program Coordinator Sr. Academic Officer Mr. Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Mr. Tanvir Ahmad Jan, and I/C Lecturer Shahida Jan for their dedicated efforts in successfully executing the program.
Spokesperson said the event concluded with a collective commitment from educators to implement the acquired strategies in their classrooms, promoting a more inclusive and supportive educational environment across the district.
