Bandipora, March 7: An awareness programme on the introduction of new criminal laws was organized at Government Degree College Hajin by District Police Bandipora in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora. The event aimed to educate students and faculty members about the changes brought under the newly introduced Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Panel Lawyer Irshad Ahmad Dar and Deputy Superintendent of Police delivered detailed lectures on the subject, explaining the nuances of the new criminal laws. The session provided in-depth discussions on various provisions of BNS, addressing doubts and clarifying key legal changes.
