Bandipora, March 3: Residents of Bandipora district are facing severe power supply issues during the holy month of Ramadan, with frequent curtailments and distress cuts, particularly during Sehri and Iftar.
The situation has caused immense inconvenience to the fasting population, who rely on electricity during these crucial hours.
Consumers, especially those in areas with smart meters, have expressed frustration, stating that they were promised an uninterrupted power supply but continue to experience outages.
“We were assured better power supply after installing smart meters, but the situation remains the same. These disruptions during Sehri and Iftar make our lives difficult,” said a local resident.
The power crisis has sparked outrage, with residents urging higher authorities to intervene and ensure a stable electricity supply.
