Hajin,: To educate the public about the latest amendments in criminal laws, Hajin Police organized an awareness program at ITI College, Hajin, on Saturday. The event, chaired by DySP Hajin Manzoor Ahmad, aimed at familiarizing students and senior citizens with the key aspects of the new legal framework.
During the event, SDPO Hajin provided an in-depth briefing on the salient features of the New Criminal Laws, emphasizing their justice-oriented and victim-centric approach.
He explained that the revised laws prioritize justice over punishment, ensuring swift trials and timely justice for victims. Special attention has been given to crimes against women and children, with stricter provisions and improved legal mechanisms for their protection.
Highlighting the integration of modern advancements, the SDPO also mentioned that the new laws incorporate technological developments to strengthen the criminal justice system.
