JKTF Bandipora Organizes Legal Awareness Program for Teachers

Bandipora, February 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Bandipora Wednesday organized a legal awareness program aimed at educating teachers about their rights and responsibilities.

The event witnessed the participation of numerous teachers, featuring a special session led by Mudasir Ahmad Mir (LLB), JKTF’s legal advisor.

During the session, Mr. Mir provided valuable insights into various legal aspects concerning teachers, including service rights, grievance redressal mechanisms, and legal protections. He stressed the importance of legal awareness in the teaching community and assured continuous support in safeguarding their professional interests.

A key highlight of the event was an interactive Q&A session, where teachers actively engaged in discussions and sought clarifications on legal matters affecting their profession. Expressing satisfaction with the session, an attendee remarked, “This is the first time such an initiative has been taken by any forum. It has been truly enlightening.”

Anjum Nisar, Chief Spokesperson of JKTF, reiterated the forum’s commitment to conducting similar programs in the future. “We will continue organizing such discussions to provide teachers a platform to voice their concerns and formulate strategies to address their challenges,” he stated.
