Indian Army Organizes Medical Camp in Panar Hamlet 

Bandipora, Feb 23: In a continued effort to reach out to remote communities and provide essential healthcare services, the Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles in collaboration with 4015 Field Hospital and 26 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Manasbal Sector, organized a medical camp in Panar village on Sunday.

An official said the camp provided free health check-ups and medicines to residents, focusing on those with limited access to medical facilities. “Patients requiring specialized care were identified and referred for further treatment”.

He said about 295 individuals benefited from the initiative. Alongside medical services, an awareness program was conducted to educate locals about disease prevention, hygiene, and sanitation. “The session highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness to curb the spread of illnesses”.

Spokesperson said Residents appreciated the Army’s efforts and urged for more such camps in the future, emphasizing the need for continued healthcare outreach in the region. “The initiative is part of the Army’s broader commitment to improving the well-being of citizens in remote areas”
