Bandipora, Feb 11: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has revamped Bandipora Unit and has announced appointments of new office bearers in the district.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener on Tuesday, Forum Spokesperson said that on the directions of UT General Secretary Mir Bashir Ahmad, Sajad Ahmad Wagay has been appointed as District President for Bandipora while Majid Majeed has been named as Vice District President Bandipora. Anjum Nisar has been appointed as General Secretary for Bandipora district with an additional charge as spokesperson of the forum.
Spokesperson said the fresh appointments aimed at strengthening its organizational structure and to enhance the forum’s service to the teaching community.
He said the appointments are expected to bring greater coordination and efficiency to the forum’s activities in the district, ensuring better representation of teachers’ concerns. “The J&K Teachers Forum, affiliated with the All India State Teachers Federation (AISTF), plays a pivotal role in advocating for the rights and welfare of educators across the Union Territory”.
