EPFO to Host Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 in Doda to Mark Anniversary

Jammu: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Regional Office Jammu will celebrate the second anniversary of its flagship outreach program, Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, with a special event in Doda on January 27, 2025.

The program, to be held at the Conference Hall, DC Office Doda, will focus on addressing grievances and raising awareness about social security provisions among workers and employers.

Launched in January 2023, Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 aims to bring EPFO closer to its stakeholders by providing direct grievance redressal, education on social security schemes, and handholding support to employees and employers. Shri Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I (RPFC-I), Jammu, will personally hear grievances during the program. Attendees will be informed about various schemes and initiatives of EPFO, including Provident Fund, Pension, and Insurance.

The event will cover themes such as grievance filing mechanisms through EPFiGMS and CPGRAMS, fraud prevention, and the rights of employees. Employers and employees will receive guidance on important processes such as UAN activation, Aadhaar and bank account seeding, online claim filing, e-nomination, and KYC updates. A special pension help desk will be available to resolve pension-related grievances on the spot.

Subscribers, pensioners, representatives from establishments, contractors, industrial chambers, and officials from departments such as PWD, PDD, PMGSY, and Education have been invited to participate. All private schools and contractors under NHIDCL in the Doda district have also been urged to attend to ensure maximum participation.

Since November 2019, EPFO has extended social security benefits under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, to workers in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. The insurance scheme now offers enhanced coverage of up to ₹7 lakhs.

EPFO has called for active participation from all stakeholders to ensure the program’s success. The organization remains committed to addressing grievances, providing education on digital services, and fostering broad-based awareness about its initiatives.
