Constable (Telecom) Examination: DC Bandipora Imposes Prohibitory Orders Around Exam Centers

Bandipora, Dec 5: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Thursday imposed prohibitory orders around Exam Centres for the upcoming OMR-based recruitment examination for the post of Constable (Telecommunication).

In an order issued on Thursday evening, DC Bandipora has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 BNSS within a 100-meter radius of all examination centers designated for the upcoming OMR-based recruitment examination for the post of Constable (Telecommunication).

The examination, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB), is scheduled for December 8, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Official Spokesperson said the order aims to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the examination by curbing external interference, preventing potential breaches of peace, and maintaining public order around the examination centers.

As per the directives Only examinees, supervisory staff, security personnel deployed for examination duty, and officials connected with the examination process will be permitted within the 100-meter restricted zone.

Any unauthorized person or individuals not associated with the examination in any capacity will be strictly prohibited from entering the restricted radius during the examination hours.

The DC has issued instructions to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bandipora to ensure adequate security arrangements at all examination centers. “The order also emphasizes the need for cooperation from the public to facilitate a fair and disruption-free examination process”.
