Army Public School Damana Hosts Pravesh and Dwitiya Sopan Camp for Scouts & Guides

Damana, December 5: Army Public School Damana organized a three-day Pravesh Camp and Dwitiya Sopan Camp for its Scouts and Guides.

An official spokesperson said camp aimed to nurture young minds and impart values such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership The camp, which ran from December 3-5, 2024, provided students with a structured, holistic experience beyond academics.

Under the supervision of Principal Pushpinder Kaur and Vice Principal Shallu Kapoor, the camp saw active participation from resource persons including STC RP Kotwal, Joint STC (Guides) Smt. Manjeet Kour, Scouts Master Mr. Neeraj Sharma, and Scouts Master Mr. Madan Lal Sharma.

He said the event focused on enhancing students’ skills through a variety of activities aligned with the APRO 2 and 3 syllabus, designed to encourage creativity, responsibility, and camaraderie.

The camp activities were coordinated by Scouts Master Mr. Sita Ram Sharma and Guides Captain Mrs. Malkeet Kaur, ensuring smooth execution throughout. The students actively participated in the hands-on activities, learning valuable life skills while strengthening their peer relationships.

The Closing Ceremony of the camp was graced by Wing Commander (Retd.) M.M. Joshi, National Secretary, J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides. His motivational speech left the students inspired and excited about the next steps in their scouting journey.

Spokesperson said the event marked a significant milestone for the Scouts and Guides at Army Public School Damana, reinforcing the core values of scouting while fostering an environment of fun, learning, and personal growth.
