Sumbal,02 December:- The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the appointment of Syed Sajad as the new District President for Bandipora.
Speaking to the media following his nomination, Syed Sajad expressed his heartfelt gratitude to PDP Chief Ms. Mehbooba Mufti for entrusting him with this significant responsibility.
“I am deeply thankful to our party chief, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, for giving me this opportunity and nominating me as the District President of Bandipora,” he said. “I will dedicate myself to the welfare of the people and the betterment of Bandipora district.”
Syed Sajad further said that the pressing issues in Bandipora particularly in Sonawari, where residents of Nowgam are grappling with a severe water crisis. “As everyone knows, Sonawari faces numerous problems, and the people of Nowgam are especially burdened by the lack of clean water. I am committed to addressing these challenges,” he stated.
Having previously served as the Chairman of Civil Society Sonawari, Syed Sajad emphasized his track record of community service and pledged to continue working for the welfare of the people. “I have always worked for the betterment of society, and I will redouble my efforts to serve the residents of Bandipora. Once again, I extend my gratitude to Ms. Mehbooba Mufti for this chance to serve,” he added.
Meanwhile, spokesperson said the PDP leadership and local supporters have welcomed his appointment, hoping for a proactive and impactful tenure under his leadership.
