Srinagar, Nov 23: Kashmir College of Engineering and Technology Srinagar, recently held a two-day IDE Bootcamp aimed at enhancing the skills of principals and teachers from PM Shri schools of the country.
The event was organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy in collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE, CBSE, and NCERT. Over 200 delegates from various PM Shri schools in the Jammu & Kashmir UT participated in the event, which provided a valuable opportunity for learning and sharing innovative ideas.
The Bootcamp commenced on 22 Nov, 2024, with a virtual opening ceremony led by Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice-Chairman of AICTE and Chief Innovation Officer of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, who joined from the AICTE headquarters.
The event also featured notable guests like Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, Head of PARAKH at NCERT, and Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director of Skill Education & Training at CBSE. The chief guest at the venue was Prof. Khurshid Ahmad Bhat, the Dean of the College Development Council.
The contributions of Mr. Vikas Verma and Mr. Vibham Bharatsingh Vyas from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell were also acknowledged, as they played a crucial role in the Bootcamp’s success.
Moreover, engaging sessions also took place and were led by Dr. Irfana Rashid and Dr. Aashiq Hussain from the Wadwani Foundation, who acted as knowledge partners. Participants enjoyed a smooth experience, with travel and accommodation arranged by the Kashmir College of Engineering and Technology.
