Nayeem Akhtar says Omar Abdullah is in silence mode

Srinagar, Nov 19: Peoples Democratic Party leader Nayeem Akhtar Tuesday accused Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of remaining silent on crucial issues that garnered his party a majority mandate.

Speaking to reporters in Srinagar today, Nayeem Akhtar alleged that the National Conference is resorting to traditional politics, ‘deceiving’ the public and shirking its responsibilities.

He said NC is attempting to sweep its manifesto under the rug, abandoning promises made to the people. He criticized the party’s lack of action on vital issues, stating that this inaction is a betrayal of the public’s trust.
