Bandipora, November 13: Residents of Aragam in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district held a candlelight march to protest the recent death of a civilian from Naidkhai, Bandipora.
The woman, who was injured in a grenade attack at the TRC in Srinagar, succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning.
Scores of protesters, especially Youth, assembled near Higher Secondary Aragam and marched towards Aragam Chowk where they held a Dharna against Civilian Killings. The protesters light candles to remember the mother of three kids who passed away after battling for life for more than a week.
Protesters expressed dismay over the violence, decrying the targeting of civilians. “These killings must not go unpunished. Taking innocent lives is a grave wrongdoing,” said one participant.
