J&K Water Testing Laboratory Staff Association Meets Minister Javeed Ahmad Rana, Presents Charter of Demands

Srinagar, Nov 9, 2024: The All Jammu and Kashmir Water Testing Laboratory Staff Association, led by its Chairman, Mr. Mohsin Atta Bhat, met with Hon’ble Minister for Jal Shakti, Javeed Ahmad Rana, at his Civil Secretariat office in Srinagar. The association presented a charter of demands during the meeting, which included key issues such as the revision of honorarium for laboratory staff.

The minister assured the delegation that all genuine demands would be addressed on a priority basis. He emphasized that the regularization of temporary and contractual employees, a promise made in the government’s manifesto, would be implemented at an appropriate time.

Following the meeting, the association members expressed their gratitude to the minister for his time and congratulated him on his recent victory and elevation to the ministerial role. In response, Minister Rana thanked the association for their support and best wishes.
