Kupwara, Nov 8: The Handwara police have attached properties worth crores belonging to four Kashmiri militant handlers based in Pakistan. The properties, comprising 9 kanals and 11 marlas of land, were attached after obtaining an order from the Additional Sessions Court in Handwara, police said.
The properties belong to Abdul Majeed Malla, Abdi; Rashid Mir, Arshid Ahmad Parry, and Sajad Ahmad Bhat, all declared proclaimed offenders in a 2011 case under the IMCO Act and RPC.
This action according to police was taken under sections 88 CrPC (83 central).
The attached properties are located in Supernaghama, Mandigam, and Palpora Kralgund, and are valued at crores.
