Jammu, October 25: The Regional Office of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) for Jammu and Ladakh is all set to host the Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program on October 28.
EPFO Commissioner Rizwan Uddin (RPFC-I) said this outreach initiative will be held simultaneously at SICOP IID Centre Conference Hall in Kathua and Station Headquarter Nimmo in Leh, Ladakh.

He said the program, aimed at employers and employees, will focus on social security awareness, filing grievances, digital services, and fraud prevention. “It will also address employees’ rights and the responsibilities of employers. Key sessions will cover critical EPFO schemes, including Provident Fund (PF), Pension, and Insurance benefits”.
A “handholding” component will allow for one-on-one support for workers and employers with the aim of fostering broad participation and direct engagement with stakeholders, reads the statement issued by EPFO.
EPFO has invited subscribers, pensioners, industry representatives, and chamber members to participate to ensure maximum impact.
District Nodal Officers Devinder Singh and Mr. Sandeep Kumar will lead the sessions in Jammu and Ladakh, respectively.
Participants can expect a comprehensive overview of EPFO’s digital initiatives, including e-Nomination, Online Claim Filing, the Principal Employer Dashboard, and UAN KYC updates. “Special attention will be given to grievance resolution, especially for cases involving profile updates and death cases,” EPFO Commissioner informed.
“The program will also include a dedicated Pension Help Desk, which will provide on-the-spot assistance for pension-related concerns”.
Rizwan Uddin also appealed to industry leaders, including the President of the Industries Association Ajit Bawa and General Secretary Sandeep Mittal, to ensure social security benefits are extended to all eligible employees from their first day of employment.
In addition, the program will address member enrolment, UAN activation, Aadhaar and bank account seeding, e-nominations, e-signatures, and ECR filing. The enhanced benefits under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, which now offers coverage up to Rs 7 lakh, will also be discussed.
